Daniel Doherty has over 20 years of experience in the software engineering industry. Daniel began their career as a Part-time Lecturer in Electrical Installations at Dublin Institute of Technology. Daniel then worked for Ericsson as a Software Designer/Tester, focusing on the maintenance of the Switched Network Products department. Following this, they joined Iona as a Software Designer/Tester, where they worked on maintaining and developing automation and build systems for the Orbix2000 Java product. Daniel then worked at O2 Ireland as a Senior Analyst Developer/Technical Lead, where they developed and supported various applications. Daniel later joined Datalex as a Team Lead, overseeing both hosted and non-hosted customers on the Travel Distribution Platform product. Currently, Daniel works at FINEOS as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in policy and billing systems development using SAFe framework in scrum teams.
Daniel Doherty obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Electric/Electronic Engineering from Technological University Dublin. Daniel pursued their studies at the university from 1990 to 1995.
