Darryl Canning has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Darryl is currently employed as an Information Technology Recruitment Specialist at FINEOS, a global software company. In this role, they are responsible for assisting customers in transitioning to FINEOS AdminSuite, a modern customer-centric core product-suite.
Prior to their current position, Darryl worked as an On-Site IT Recruitment Specialist at Manpower Ireland, where they focused on filling contract and permanent IT roles in Dublin. Darryl then transitioned into the role of Technical Recruiter, placing professionals in various IT roles such as project managers, software engineers, and IT support engineers.
Before their time at Manpower, Darryl gained experience as an IT Recruiter at Abrivia Recruitment Specialists, where they partnered with esteemed organizations in industries such as financial services, FMCG, and software. Darryl specialized in recruiting for Microsoft, Linux, virtualization, storage, and IT security related roles.
Earlier in their career, Darryl worked as a recruitment consultant at SAR Recruitment, primarily focusing on sourcing candidates in construction, warehousing, and logistics. Darryl also expanded their recruitment expertise to include administrative staff, cleaners, security guards, and security engineers.
Additionally, Darryl had a role as a Sales Assistant at Lidl Ireland, and during their intern years, they worked at Derek Behan ltd.
Darryl Canning started their education journey at Collinstown Park Community College, where they completed their Leaving Cert degree from 2006 to 2012. All of these courses were completed on the LinkedIn platform in April 2020.
