Jacqueline Callanan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jacqueline started their career as a Programmer Analyst at Logica in 1988, where they worked on Logica's financial messaging product, FASTWIRE, at client sites and the FASTWIRE Product Centre. In 1991, they joined Thomson Reuters as a Software Developer and Team Leader, working on real-time European Quotations Systems. After that, Jacqueline worked as an IT Development Manager at Deutsche Bank / State Street from 1998 to 2003, where they gained skills in business analysis, project management, and vendor liaison. Jacqueline also served as a Company Director at Varneyware Ltd from 1998 to 2013, handling technical support and managing the company accounts. Following this, Jacqueline worked as a Research Assistant at Trinity College Dublin in 2014. Since then, they have been working at FINEOS as a Senior Product Analyst, primarily involved in designing and implementing a data feed for Workplace Benefits.
Jacqueline Callanan holds a Master's Degree in MSc Computer Science (Mobile & Ubiquitous Computing) from Trinity College Dublin, which they obtained in the period from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in BSc (Hons) Computer Science and Maths from University College Dublin between 1984 and 1988. In addition to their formal education, Jacqueline has obtained various certifications over the years, including the BCS Practitioner Certificate in Requirements Engineering from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in May 2021, the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance in July 2019, the Occupational First Aid - FETAC Level 5 from FETAC (Further Education and Training Awards Council) in May 2017, the Certified SAFe Practitioner (SP) from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2015, and the JEB Diploma Education Practice: ICT Skills from Joint Examining Board (JEB) in March 2004.
