Ronan Derby has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Ronan began their career as an intern at PFN in 1998. In 2000, they joined Puca as a member of the development team and quickly progressed to become the lead developer and later the software development manager. During their almost 7 years at Puca, Ronan was responsible for all aspects of development carried out by teams in Ireland and China.
In 2007, Ronan joined FINEOS as a development manager in New Zealand, where they worked on multiple projects and led a team of developers and testers. Ronan'sresponsibilities included requirements gathering, analysis, development, production support, and coordination with other vendors. Ronan held various positions at FINEOS, including principal technical consultant and scrum master, before being promoted to agile development manager in 2017.
Ronan Derby completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Applications from Dublin City University from 1996 to 2000. Ronan also obtained additional certifications including "Docker from Basic to Advanced" from NobleProg in September 2020 and "Certified SAFe Agilist" from Scaled Agile, Inc. in January 2016.
