Sergio Torres

Sergio Torres has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Sergio started their career as an Analista programador at Coritel in 2005, where they were involved in technical analysis, development, and support for J2EE applications. Sergio then joined GFI Informática in 2006 as an Analista, where they performed functional and technical analysis for the application gestion de expedientes.

In 2007, Sergio joined ALTEN SPAIN as a Software engineer, working on various projects such as Leasing request, Scoring, and BDPInt. Sergio was responsible for analysis, development, and implementation of applications.

From 2008 to 2016, Sergio worked at ALTEN as a Senior Software engineer, focusing on projects related to the Congreso de los Diputados. Their responsibilities included the analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of applications for electronic bills and parliamentary proposals.

Most recently, Sergio worked at FINEOS since 2016, initially as a Senior software Engineer and later as a Lead Engineer. Their primary role revolved around developing software for health insurance. Sergio worked with technologies such as Java 8, Jenkins, Docker, and Scrum (Safe), collaborating with analysts and product owners to refine stories and performing code reviews.

Sergio Torres has a diverse educational background in the field of information technology. Starting in 2001, they pursued a degree in Informatica Sistemas at Pontifica de Salamanca, which they completed in 2005. Following this, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Master's degree in Desarrollo de Aplicaciones para el Comercio Electronico at Universidad de Salamanca. Later, from 2012 to 2014, Sergio obtained a Convalidacion Grado en Informatica from Universidad Pontifica de Salamanca.

In addition to their formal education, Sergio has acquired additional certifications. In September 2020, they obtained a Docker from Basic to Advanced Certificate from NobleProg. Prior to this, in April 2020, they received a certification in How To Become An Outstanding Solution Architect from Udemy.
