Michael Olaleye

Michael Olaleye has over four years of professional experience in the IT industry. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Cloud Engineer at Ecobank Nigeria, where they were responsible for developing backup and recovery strategies for applications and databases on virtualization platforms, enforcing backup policies, and proactively resolving issues to prevent physical and virtual server outages. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Cloud Architect at Saidatech-LLC, where they were responsible for planning, designing and developing solutions on Amazon Web Services, setting up IBM Sterling ConnectDirect to establish file sharing between IBM servers on prem to AWS EC2 server, installing Apache and Nginx web servers to route traffic into multiple applications, creating low latency websites using S3, CloudFront and Route53, and creating and managing IAM user accounts and role-based policies for access to AWS services. Currently, they are working as a DevOps Engineer at Fingercheck.
