Rosa R. has a long history of work experience, beginning with their role as an App Idol at Microsoft in 2011. In 2014, they became a Web Programmer at PDP, where they troubleshot and fixed computer issues and improved the design of the company website. In 2015, Rosa took on multiple roles at the University of Puerto Rico and the University of South Florida. At the University of Puerto Rico, they developed a Dots and Boxes game, and at the University of South Florida, they improved HeartMApp, an application to amend the health-style of patients. In the same year, Rosa also became a Programmer Consultant and Technical Lead at KPG Inc., where they met with clients to gather needs of a system that needed to be developed. Rosa also provided mentorship to 6 interns. Finally, in 2017, Rosa became a Lead Mobile Developer and Xamarin Mobile Developer at Fingercheck, a SaaS company that provides a complete HR solution for small and mid-sized businesses.
Rosa R. obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Puerto Rico-Bayamon in 2015, majoring in Applied Computer Science. Rosa also obtained a Computer Repair and Assembly certification from the University of Puerto Rico. In 2018, Rosa R. obtained a Grow with Google Challenge Scholarship from Udacity and an Android Nanodegree from Udacity in November 2018. In 2019, they began an AI Programming With Python course at Udacity and is currently still pursuing it. Rosa R. also obtained an Interprofessional Healthcare Informatics certification from Coursera Course Certificates in August 2016.
