John Rantala

John Rantala is a seasoned game designer and producer with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Currently serving as Lead Game Designer at Fingersoft since November 2017, John leads the design efforts for the sequel to the successful Hill Climb Racing franchise, focusing on various game design elements including systems, mechanics, and monetization. In addition to design, John has experience as Producer for Hill Climb Racing 3, managing a development team, and has held roles as a Game Developer, Publishing Director, and project manager within relevant educational and commercial projects. John earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and Administration from Laurea University of Applied Sciences, supplemented by vocational training in security.
