Dmitry Piskarev

Dmitry Piskarev has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dmitry is currently working as the Head of Data Science at Finular since September 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Coins.ph from September 2021 to September 2022, where they were responsible for developing machine learning models and analysis for risk assessment and anti-fraud projects. Dmitry also managed projects, made presentations to stakeholders, and negotiated with internal customers.

Before their role at Coins.ph, Dmitry worked as a Data Scientist at Société Générale from March 2020 to September 2021. Dmitry was involved in data analysis and modeling during their tenure. Dmitry also worked as a Project Manager at T Plus Group from July 2018 to February 2020, where they prepared financial models, analyzed financial statements, and developed presentations for the Board.

Dmitry has also gained experience as a Research Consultant at WorldQuant LLC from June 2016 to October 2019, a Corporate Finance Analyst at Vessolink Group from May 2017 to July 2018, and an Engineer-Constructor at ОАО "Корпорация Тактическое Ракетное Вооружение" from September 2015 to May 2017.

Prior to their professional career, Dmitry held positions such as Corporate Relations at the Board of European Students of Technology from February 2014 to July 2015, Jn. Engineer at Renault Group from June 2014 to June 2015, and Marketing Manager at VITEX in 2015.

Dmitry Piskarev has a diverse education history. Dmitry obtained a Bachelor's degree in Special Machinary, Special Robotic and Mechatronic from Bauman Moscow State Technical University in the years 2011 to 2015. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at the same university from 2015 to 2017. Concurrently, in 2017, Dmitry also enrolled at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. Dmitry completed their High-Research teacher - Predoctoral Research degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from 2017 to 2020. During this same period, they also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Finance and Financial Management Services from the same university.

Additionally, Dmitry has earned several certifications to further augment their education. Dmitry completed the Advanced Data Science Specialization, Advanced Data Science with IBM, Advanced Machine Learning and Signal Processing, Applied AI with DeepLearning, and Fundamentals of Scalable Data Science courses from various institutions such as Coursera and IBM in the year 2020. In 2016, they obtained the Specialist of financial market certification from NAUFOR (National Association of Securities Market Participants). Furthermore, Dmitry received the Top Innovator Award from WorldQuant LLC in 2016 and achieved the EF EPI-s certification from EF International Language Centers for Professionals in 2014.
