Maxim Chernuschenko has extensive experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on digital and consumer finance. Maxim is currently an Independent Member of the Supervisory Board at IPOTEKA-BANK. Previously, they founded and served as CEO of both Finular and the Pan-Asian Fintech Project, where they built successful digital finance companies operating in multiple Southeast Asian markets. Maxim also founded and led Infinto, one of the first pan-Asian digital lenders, and was an Executive Advisor to the Managing Shareholder at FE CREDIT. Prior to this, Chernuschenko advised shareholders of privately-owned banks in Russia on digital transformation and served as an Executive Advisor to the Owner/Managing Shareholder at Privately-owned Banks | AFK Systema. Maxim also held management positions at National Bank TRUST, Eurasia-Invest / TPS Group, OTP Bank (Russia), and Russian Standard Bank, where they played significant roles in growing and managing consumer finance businesses.
Maxim Chernuschenko completed their education in chronological order as follows. From 1987 to 1992, they attended Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT), specializing in General and Applied Physics. Later, from 1992 to 1998, they pursued a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Materials Science at Dartmouth College. Additionally, during the same period, they audited all disciplines of the MBA program at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth while working on their Ph.D. degree.
