Peter Polyakov

Peter Polyakov has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 2014, they completed internships in the field of geography at Moscow State University. In 2015, they completed another internship focused on economic geography. In 2016, Peter interned at Bank ZENIT in the SME Department.

In 2017, they worked as a Customer Service Specialist at Tinkoff Credit Systems for a brief period. The following year, Peter joined the Center for Strategic Research "North-West" Foundation as an Analyst. During this time, they worked on various research projects and conducted socio-economic studies for different stakeholders.

Peter joined the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology in 2020 as an Analyst in the Analytical Department on Science & Technology Development. Peter participated in research projects and contributed to the university's report on technological transformation in the field of cattle breeding.

In the same year, they also became the Director of Analytics and Certification at the Association of Industrial Parks of Russia. During their tenure, they led a team and prepared an annual report on industrial parks and SEZs in Russia. Peter also served as a member of expert commissions and educational program coordination.

In 2022, Peter joined the Fishery Shipowners Association (FSA) as a Research Analyst. Peter was involved in analytical supply for the fishing fleet renewal program and conducted market research in various areas related to the industry.

Most recently, in 2023, Peter started working at Finular as an Antifraud Analyst.

Peter Polyakov attended Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economic and Social Geography of Russia. Afterward, they enrolled at the Russian Foreign Trade Academy from 2017 to 2019 and obtained a Master's degree in Finance in International Business. Alongside their formal education, Peter has obtained several certifications as well. In 2020, they completed a certification course on Statistical methods in social sciences from Tomsk State University. In 2021, they acquired an Advanced Excel certification from Laba. Further, in 2022, Peter received certifications in Excel Modeling Tips and Tricks, Learning R, and Regression Analysis Fundamentals from LinkedIn. Continuing their professional development, in 2023, they obtained certifications in From Excel to SQL and Security in Fintech Essential Training, both from LinkedIn, as well as an English First SET Certificate from EF English First.
