Melinda K.

Melinda K. has over 10 years of work experience, starting in 2009 as an Academic Resource Center Tutor at Bellarmine University. Melinda tutored students in subjects such as Accounting and German. From 2012-2013, they worked as an Editorial Assistant at Folklorica: Journal of the Slavic & East European Folklore Association and as an Education Abroad Office Assistant at the University of Kentucky. In 2013, they were a Language Support Centre Teaching Assistant at Pädagogische Hochschule Ludwigsburg.

Melinda then transitioned into accounting roles, starting as a Staff Accountant at Accountemps in 2014, followed by a Staff Accountant role at STACK Construction Technologies until 2017. From 2017-2019, they worked as an Accountant at GE, managing accounting tasks. In 2019, they joined BiOWiSH Technologies as an Accountant, where they focused on Accounts Payable and performed month-end duties.

In 2020, Melinda returned to STACK Construction Technologies as a Senior Accountant. Melinda managed various accounting activities such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, General Ledger accounting, and employee benefit management. Their responsibilities also included month-end duties such as bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and generating reports. Melinda currently holds the position of Senior Accountant at Finit Solutions, starting in 2021.

Melinda K. completed their education starting from 2006 to 2008 at Great Oaks Career Campuses, where they earned a Marketing Career Certificate. Afterwards, they attended Bellarmine University for their undergraduate studies from 2008 to 2012, achieving a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a major in Economics & Finance, and minors in Accounting and German. In 2012, they briefly enrolled at the University of Kentucky, focusing on German studies. Later on, from 2016 to 2020, Melinda pursued further education at Xavier University - Williams College of Business, obtaining a Master's Degree in Business Administration.
