Jeff Platzer

Jeff Platzer is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and product management. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at Finite State since May 2024, Jeff previously held the position of Senior Product Manager at SimSpace Corporation, where responsibilities included enhancing cyber range platform capabilities and creating product roadmaps. Prior to that, Jeff worked for Cisco for 20 years in various roles, including Lead Product Owner for the Next-Gen Firewall product line, where contributions supported significant revenue streams, and Software Engineering Manager, overseeing teams in Agile development transitions. As the Founder and Principal Software Engineer at Symbiotic Security, Jeff focused on developing threat protection solutions for IoT products. Jeff holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
