Philippe Brügger

Philippe Brügger possesses extensive experience in financial oversight and analytics, currently serving as the Head of the Data and Analytics Office at Eidgenössische Finanzmarktaufsicht FINMA since July 2009. In addition to this role, Philippe engages with several significant initiatives, including the Informal Suptech Network at the Financial Stability Institute and the QIS Working Group at the Bank for International Settlements. Previous positions include Head of Bank Data and Analytics Office and Senior Specialist for Bank Analyses at FINMA, as well as Head of Group Treasury at Clientis AG and Risk Controlling Specialist at Zurich Cantonal Bank. Philippe's academic background includes dual Master of Science degrees in Physics from the University of Bern and the University of Strathclyde.
