Paul Smith

Paul Smith has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Paul is currently working as an Expansion Manager at Finnovating since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at UOB from January 2013 to November 2021. At UOB, they held the positions of Innovation Lead from July 2017 to November 2021 and Senior Innovation Manager from January 2013 to July 2017. In these roles, Paul was responsible for identifying new opportunities and developing use cases for internal innovation projects. Paul also defined and planned engagement strategies for project stakeholders.

Before UOB, Paul worked at DBS Bank from October 2008 to January 2013, serving as a Senior Business Development Consultant and a Private Banking Associate. Paul also has experience at OCBC Bank, where they worked as a Banking Consultant from April 2002 to July 2005 and as a Junior Assistant Manager from December 2000 to April 2002. Prior to that, Paul had a data-analyst role at Flex from September 1999 to December 2000, where they supported the Planning team in creating and developing new databases and assisted in financial analysis and database management. Paul also had a student internship at Flex from March 1999 to September 1999.

Paul Smith completed their education history with a Master's degree in Finance Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, which they attained from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they pursued an Executive MBA in Economics from UNIR - La Universidad en Internet, spanning from 1999 to 2000. Their undergraduate studies were undertaken at the National University of Singapore, where they focused on Economics and received a degree in Engineering Design & Innovation Centre from 1994 to 1998.
