L. Michael Meyer

L. Michael Meyer, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the FinTech sector. As the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Middlegame Ventures since January 2018, Meyer has focused on investing in early-stage growth businesses centered on Financial Innovation. Additionally, Meyer serves as a Board Member for Ctrl Alt and Finoa, and Co-Founder of the NadiFin Fintech Accelerator. With a leadership role as Vice Chair on the Executive Board of the International RegTech Association, Meyer has also held board positions at Konsentus and Capdesk. Past experience includes co-founding the RegTech Lab, an innovation center aimed at solving regulatory challenges in financial services. Meyer has contributed to academia as a Corporate Advisory Board Member and Adjunct Professor at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, where a class on FinTech and Financial Innovation was co-created and co-taught. Academic credentials include a BA in Economics from Yale University and an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
