Charles Maranda has diverse work experience, starting in 2015 as a Senior Analyst in Market Risk Quantification at the National Bank of Canada. In this role, they demonstrated strong leadership skills by successfully leading a team of six and overseeing various projects, including the integration of risk factors into NBC's Market Risk measures. Charles also played a key role in planning and designing data orders with renowned providers, becoming an expert in NBC's systems and procedures.
In 2016, Charles transitioned to Maranda Optométrie, where they served as a Manager and Operator until 2021, gaining valuable experience in managing and operating the business.
Currently, Charles is a Co-Founder of Finofo, a position they have held since 2021.
Charles Maranda began their education journey in 2011 at Concordia University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematical and Computational Finance. Charles dedicated himself to their studies for three years, successfully completing their degree in 2014. During their time at Concordia University, Charles also had the opportunity to participate in an international student exchange program. In 2012 and 2013, they attended the National University of Singapore, focusing on Mathematics and Statistics as their field of study.
