André Gomes

André Gomes has over four years of professional experience in the software engineering and development field. In 2019, they began working as a Software Engineer at Finologee. Prior to this, they were a Software Developer at La Redoute Portugal from 2018 to 2019, where they were the lead developer in replatforming of high availability components, using Spring Boot microservices. André also acquired experience communicating with product owners and managing business expectations, and improved their skills regarding Spring and Hibernate frameworks. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as an IT Consultant at BOLD International, where they developed Java applications based on the Spring framework, Java webservices, and web applications as well as application integration with the online marketplaces Amazon and Ebay. In 2015, they began their professional career as a Trainee at PT Cloud & Data Centers, where they developed a web platform capable of retrieving automatic test information from their Jenkins server and presented it with a modern look using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AngularJS. André also worked on an Android mobile application to manage the daily team operation.

André Gomes received their Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the Universidade de Coimbra from 2008 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Escola Secundária /3 de Santa Comba Dão from 2005 to 2008, studying Science and Technology. Additionally, they obtained certification in Understanding TypeScript from Udemy in August 2019 and certification in Angular 8 (formerly Angular 2) - The Complete Guide from Udemy in July 2019.
