Jay Wanek

Jay Wanek is a seasoned professional in the technology sector with extensive experience in pre-sales and solution consulting. Currently serving as Regional VP of Pre-Sales and previously as Principal Consultant and Senior Solution Consultant at Apptio since December 2010, Jay focuses on solution consulting for the Americas - East. Prior to this role, positions at HP from 1995 to December 2010 included CME Presales District Lead, Business Technology Partner, and several roles centered on software solution architecture and adoption for corporate financial services accounts. Additionally, Jay is a FinOps Certified Practitioner with the FinOps Foundation since April 2020. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned between 1983 and 1987.
