Joe Daly

Joe Daly has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Joe is currently employed as the Director of Community at FinOps Foundation, where they have been serving since December 2021. Prior to this, they were a Charter Member and part of the Technical Advisory Council at the same organization from July 2020 to November 2021. Before joining FinOps Foundation, Joe worked at Nationwide as the Director of Cloud Optimization from May 2018 to November 2021. Joe also has extensive experience at Cardinal Health, where they held various managerial roles such as Manager of Cloud Cost Optimization and Manager of Server Virtualization & Engineering. Earlier in their career, Joe worked at GBQ Partners as a Tax Analyst and later as a Senior Tax Analyst.

Joe Daly has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Miami University. Joe also holds several additional certifications, including "FOCP: FinOps Certified Practitioner" from The Linux Foundation, obtained in September 2021, "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" from Amazon in partnership with Alpine Testing Solutions, obtained in November 2018, and "Certified Public Accountant (Inactive)" from the Accountancy Board of Ohio.
