Gilli Shama is the Head of AI at FINQ since 2025 and has been a private university MBA lecturer at Reichman University since 2017, specializing in advanced data science for big data using Python. Previous positions include Head of Data Science at Localize (2022-2024) and Data Science Director at Amdocs (2017-2021), where responsibilities included leading the AI Center of Excellence and overseeing AI solutions for the company's products and services. With a strong background in data science, Gilli has also served as a senior lecturer at Technion and Tel Aviv University, focusing on data visualization and statistics, respectively. Education includes a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Mathematics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, a post-doctorate in Physics from the University of Maryland, a D.Sc. in Technology and Science Education from Technion, and an M.A. in Mathematics Education from Tel Aviv University.
