FinTech Analytic Solutions (FAS) builds credit scoring and underwriting infrastructure for non-traditional income earners — the 1099 workers, independent contractors, and small business owner-operators who generate real, consistent income but remain invisible to traditional credit models.

The U.S. has more than 60 million independent contractors. They earn real wages, pay real taxes, and contribute $1.35 trillion to the economy. Yet when a licensed electrician with five years of multi-employer project history applies for a business line of credit, or a travel nurse earning $140K across three hospital systems applies for a mortgage, they are routinely denied — not because their income is unstable, but because no existing infrastructure translates it into a form lenders can evaluate.

FAS was built to close that gap.

Our income normalization engine ingests multi-payer, multi-rate, and project-based payment records — the data structures that characterize contractor and gig work — and produces stable, lender-interpretable income signals that comply with FCRA and ECOA standards for alternative data use in credit decisions.

Phase 1 focus: specialty trades workers (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and healthcare gig workers (travel nurses, per diem clinicians) — two populations with documented credit access gaps and rich, structured payroll data ecosystems.
FAS is led by co-founders Dr. Erika Henry (PhD, Social Cognitive Neuroscience; former Principal Scientist, Amazon; former Senior Director of Data Science, Walmart) and Dr. Clint Irvin (PhD, Social Experimental Psychology, former Principal Scientist, Synovus; former Senior Research Scientist, Amazon).
