Catalin Ionescu is an experienced professional in product management and banking technology, currently serving as the Director of Product Management at FintechOS since October 2020. In this role, Catalin is responsible for shaping the product vision and roadmap, focusing on embedded finance, open banking, and digital banking solutions. Prior to FintechOS, Catalin held various leadership positions at BCR from December 2009 to October 2020, including Transformation Program Manager and Head of CRM Digital Product Management, where responsibilities encompassed digital transformation initiatives and product ownership in operational CRM. Earlier career experiences include positions at Alpha Bank related to internet banking implementation and customer relationship management, as well as a customer service role at CGS Romania. Catalin holds both a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Information Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
