Tamás Gémes

Tamás Gémes has extensive experience as a CTO and co-founder in various fintech companies. Tamás co-founded FintechX Technologies in 2019, where they currently hold the position of CTO & Co-founder. Prior to this, they were also the CTO & co-founder of FintechBlocks from 2017, which is an Open Banking Innovation Platform that facilitates collaboration between banks and fintechs through microservice cloud and API marketplace solutions. Before that, they co-founded Aggreg8.io in 2017, a financial data aggregator service in the CEE region. Tamás has also served as the CTO of Wyze.me, a mobile and web application that provides a comprehensive financial overview, from 2014 to 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Programmer Analyst/Project Manager at Catholic Health System from 2011 to 2015, and as a CEO at Bitdive from 2013 to 2014. Tamás gained experience as an Information Systems Intern at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center in 2010 and as a Software Engineer at Nokia Siemens Networks from 2008 to 2010.

Tamás Gémes completed their education in a chronological order. Tamás first attended Corvinus University of Budapest from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Economics. Following that, from 2004 to 2009, they attended Budapest Polytechnic and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. Later, they pursued further studies at Niagara University from 2010 to 2011, where they completed a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Strategic Management. In terms of additional certifications, Tamás obtained the Certified Associate in Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2012.
