Tom Barrett

Tom Barrett is a Senior Data Scientist with experience at Abound and Render since April 2022, where responsibilities include evaluating comprehensive financial data beyond credit scores and leveraging open banking and alternative data for credit decisions. Prior to these roles, Tom served as a Consultant in Credit Risk Quant at EY from September 2020 to March 2022, specializing in EMEIA Financial Services Risk Management, and completed a Summer Internship in IT Risk at EY in July 2019. Tom holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Bristol, obtained in 2020, and was educated at Bishop Wordsworth’s Grammar School from 2010 to 2017.
