Howard Salmon

Howard Salmon is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience in hospital and health system consulting. Currently serving as Senior Managing Director at nThrive since June 2016, Salmon consults with hospitals to improve financial and quality metrics. Previously, as Principal at Equation Consulting from December 2011 to June 2016, Salmon focused on physician economics through proprietary analytical tools. Prior roles include Vice President at Premier, Inc., Executive Managing Director at RehabCare, and various leadership positions at Phase 2 Consulting and Medical Imaging Centers of America. Early in his career, Salmon held multiple administrative roles at HCA and the University of Michigan Hospital. Salmon holds an MHA in Healthcare Management from the University of Minnesota and a BA, Cum Laude, in Political Science and Economics from Beloit College.
