Nicolas Castro

Nicolas Castro has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to the present. Nicolas is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Fintoc since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at MACH for four years from 2017 to 2021. At MACH, they held the position of Software Engineer Manager from May 2019 to June 2021 and also worked as a Big Data Engineer from September 2017 to May 2019. Before joining MACH, they worked as a Big Data Consultant at Analytics10 from September 2016 to September 2017. Nicolas also gained experience as a Student Researcher at Harvard University in 2014 and as an Analyst Intern at Metric Arts from December 2013 to March 2014.

Nicolas Castro holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine learning - Automatic classification of Astronomical Survey Datasets. Nicolas pursued this degree from 2014 to 2016, however, the name of the specific school is unknown. Prior to their master's degree, from 2009 to 2014, they attended Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering and Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Nicolas has also obtained two certifications. In April 2018, they completed the "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" certification from Coursera. Furthermore, in November 2016, they received the "CCA Spark and Hadoop Developer" certification from Cloudera.
