Peter Barry

Peter Barry is a Data Privacy Specialist at FinTrU since August 2021, responsible for overseeing data protection controls, including policy development, advising on Data Protection Agreements, and leading responses to Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) and data breaches. With prior experience at Pramerica Systems Ireland/Tata Consultancy Services, Peter implemented cookie controls across multiple jurisdictions and supported various data privacy initiatives. Peter's early career at Pramerica involved maintaining compliance applications and software engineering roles. Peter holds advanced diplomas in Social Media and Media Law and Data Protection Law from The Honorable Society of King's Inns, along with a Bachelor of Science in Computing from Letterkenny Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Information Studies and Linguistics from University College Dublin.
