Armin Metzger

Armin Metzger currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at FinVector Oy and has held various executive roles at Ferring Pharmaceuticals since January 2016, including EVP & Chief Technical Operations Officer, EVP & Chief Science Officer, and EVP & Chief Production Officer. Metzger possesses extensive experience in global manufacturing, supply, and R&D within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Previous positions include senior leadership roles at Merck Serono and Merck Group, with a focus on biotech manufacturing, analytical development, and product development. Educational credentials include a PostDoctorate from the Medical Research Council in Cambridge and a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Bayreuth.
