Mark Thome

Mark Thome has a comprehensive work experience spanning several years in various roles in the financial industry. Mark is currently working as the VP of Trading Technology at Finzly since 2023. Prior to this, they held roles at Silicon Valley Bank, where they served as the Director of Margin Collateral Management from September 2021 to June 2023 and as the Director of FX Product Manager since April 2013. Additionally, Mark worked as a Capital Markets and Payments Advisor at Consultant from January 2012 to May 2013. Before that, they served as a Director at ING Capital LLC from April 2004 to December 2011. Mark also gained experience as the Vice President of Treasury at Fortis Financial Markets from 1997 to 2004, and as a Senior Dealer and Manager of the FX Forward Desk at Standard Chartered Bank from 1995 to 1997. Mark began their career as a Dealer/Officer at Deutsche Bank from 1992 to 1995.

Mark Thome attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1983 to 1985, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Ethology. Apart from their degree, Mark has also earned the Series 7 and Series 63 certifications from NASD, both of which are currently active. Mark previously obtained the Series 3 (CFTC) certification, however, it has lapsed.
