Jan van Stek

Jan van Stek has extensive experience in financial investigation and training within various organizations. From 1994 to 1999, Jan served as a financial investigator at the Ministerie van Economische Zaken, where investigations focused on investment fraud and insider trading. Jan continued as a financial investigator at Korps Landelijke Politie Diensten from 1999 to 2001, after which roles included consultant at Financieel Expertise Centrum (2009-2012), lecturer in criminal law at Belastingdienst (2012-2016), and project leader for the TAFEIC initiative at FIOD (2012-2016). As of August 2025, Jan holds the position of trainer at Opsporingscampus, specializing in foundational training courses. Additional roles include serving as a complaints officer for FIOD and a strategic theme guide within the FIOD, demonstrating a commitment to education and operational development in law enforcement disciplines.
