Laura Bennett

Laura Bennett is a highly experienced bioinformatician with a strong academic background and extensive leadership roles in the field. Currently serving as Senior Team Leader, Bioinformatics Team Leader, and Bioinformatician at Fios Genomics since April 2018, Laura has previously worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute from March 2015 to April 2018 and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at University College London from February 2013 to February 2015. Laura holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioinformatics from King's College London, completed in 2013, as well as a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Mathematical Sciences with Biological and Ecological Modelling and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics with a European Language from Heriot-Watt University.
