Lowell Anderson is a distinguished professional in the field of pharmacy with extensive experience spanning over six decades. Currently a Professor (retired) at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy, Lowell has held significant roles within various organizations, including as a long-time member and fellow of the American Pharmacists Association and the International Pharmaceutical Federation, where contributions included leadership positions and committee memberships. Notably, Lowell served as CEO of Watauga Corp, oversaw community pharmacies, and managed the Medication Therapy Management network at MedEdgeRx. Additionally, Lowell co-founded the Center for Leading Health-Care Change, emphasizing leadership development in healthcare. An alumnus of the University of Minnesota with a BS in Pharmacy, Lowell has contributed to the profession through editorial roles and impactful community service.

The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) is the global federation of national associations of pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists and pharmaceutical educators in official relations with the World Health Organization (WHO). Founded in 1912, today FIP has 156 member organisations and represents over four million practitioners, scientists and educators around the world. FIP’s vision is a world where everyone benefits from access to safe, effective, quality and affordable medicines and health technologies, as well as from pharmaceutical care services provided by pharmacists, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
