William Schmidt

Will Schmidt has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Will started their career in commercial lending at KeyBank in 1991 and later worked as a Director at Dealers Monitoring Acquisition, L.P. from 1997 to 1999. Will then served as a Senior Vice President at SLP Capital from 1999 to 2004. Will joined CapitalSource in 2004 and worked as the Managing Director of the Security Lending Group until 2019. In the same year, they became the Managing Director at Rexwood Holdings, LLC. Currently, Will is the Chief Executive Officer at Fire Rover, a company that provides remote monitoring and fire suppression solutions for high fire risk facilities. Overall, Will has a strong background in management and security lending.

Will Schmidt attended Miami University from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University from 1992 to 1995. During this period, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance.
