Daniel McGuinness

Daniel McGuinness is an experienced manufacturing and operations leader with a strong background in new product development and supply chain management. Currently serving as Manufacturing Manager at FIRE1 since June 2025, Daniel previously held the position of Operations Manager at Hach from August 2023 to August 2025, where responsibilities included leading manufacturing operations at the Cork facility. Prior experience includes roles as New Product Introduction Manager at Abbott, overseeing rapid diagnostic product launches, and Global Supply Chain Launch Lead at DePuy Synthes Companies, focusing on product supply chain development. Daniel's engineering background includes roles at AbbVie, where project management in regulated environments was a key responsibility. Daniel holds a Master of Engineering in Materials Engineering from University College Dublin and an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
