Fergus O'Dea

Fergus O'Dea has worked in various roles since 2004. From 2004 to 2011, they were a Senior Bioprocess Scientist at Pfizer, where they were responsible for project management and the identification and implementation of process improvements. Fergus then took on a role as a Full-time MBA Student at Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business UCD from 2011 to 2012. After that, they worked as an Independent Consultant from 2012 to 2013, where they worked with management to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities and define market development strategies, as well as conducting market research, developing use cases and product development documents, and identifying and prioritizing possible business models through quantitative analysis. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Commercial Manager at ResMed, and from 2016 to 2018, they were a Venture Investment Leader at NDRC. Most recently, they have been the Commercial Director at FIRE1 Foundry since 2018.

Fergus O'Dea completed a Master of Science in Engineering in Biopharmaceutical Engineering at UCD in 2008. Fergus also attended NUIG, but no degree or field of study is specified.
