Maria O'Connell

Maria O'Connell has a work experience spanning from 2014 to present. Maria began their career in 2014 as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Medtronic, where they were responsible for the redesign of the current end item section of the manufacturing line into a cell operating system to improve efficiency and quality, while complying with FDA regulations. Maria then joined KOSTAL Group in 2016 as a Quality Planning Engineer and later a Graduate Quality Planning Engineer. Her main duties included developing manufacturing standards and ensuring customer requirements were met for new products, processes, and equipment. In 2019, they joined FIRE1 Foundry as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer.

Maria O'Connell completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Limerick in 2016.
