Arik Galansky

Arik Galansky began their work experience as a Back End Developer at Ofek Unit - IAF in 2003 and worked on building the unified back-end for multiple connected HR planning systems. Arik also led DB performance efforts as an application DBA and initiated the transition to a Java technology stack. From 2006 to 2010, Arik served as the Java Infrastructure & Frameworks Team Lead, where they designed and built java frameworks and production infrastructures for web development. Arik also led the team's transition from a department internal into an organizational Center of Excellence. Arik then became an R&D Integration Architect from 2010 to 2011.

In 2011, Arik joined Shaker as a Senior Software Engineer and was involved in developing a multiplayer online gaming mechanism and implementing a high-scale RESTful API. Arik also played a significant role in adopting a continuous deployment process and AB testing based on Lean Startup principles.

From 2013 to 2021, Arik worked at HiredScore, initially as a Software Engineer and Team Leader, where they contributed to the development of various projects. Arik then became the VP of R&D from 2015 to 2017, leading a team of developers and exploring new tools and technologies for the company. From 2018 to 2021, Arik served as the VP of Technology, playing a crucial role in scaling the company from 4 to 120 people. Arik initiated and led numerous initiatives to improve the technology, operation, and overall performance of the company.

Arik's most recent position is as the Head of Technology Research & Innovation at Fireblocks, starting in November 2021.

Arik Galansky received their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. Before that, from 2002 to 2003, they attended IDF - Programming School (Mamram) and obtained a degree in Software Developer, specializing in Computer Science.
