David Ben Basat is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in technology and product development. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Fireblocks since January 2023, David previously held the role of Sr. Director, Engineering at Fundbox, where oversight included ML engineering, data engineering, and DevOps, as well as alignment of technical strategy with business objectives. At Quest Software, David was Managing Director of R&D, managing global development teams for Database Performance Monitoring products. Earlier roles at Dell included Sr. Development Manager for a large team focusing on enterprise monitoring solutions and Software Development Team Lead, responsible for key components of the Performance Analysis product line. David holds a B.Sc in Information Systems from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
