Irena Libov

Irena Libov has a diverse work experience spanning from 2005 to the present. Irena is currently serving as the General Counsel at Fireblocks, a position they started in September 2021. Prior to this, they held the same role at SERMO from June 2018 to September 2021. Before that, they worked at WorkMarket, an ADP company, where they served as both a General Counsel from July 2016 to June 2018 and a Legal Counsel from July 2015 to June 2016. Additionally, they had a brief stint as a Consultant at Moisan Legal P.C. in 2015.

Irena's earlier experiences include working as a Corporate Associate at Meitar Liquornik Geva Leshem Tal from March 2012 to July 2014. During this time, they represented various public and private companies in acquisitions, sales, and investments, including preparing a medical solutions company for an initial public offering on the NASDAQ. Irena also represented venture capital firms in investments in technology companies.

Prior to their legal career, Irena worked as an Assistant to Prof. D. Levinson & Prof. J. Weissman's office at the Hebrew University from 2011 to 2012 and as an Attorney's Aide at the Department of the Supreme Court of Justice in the State Attorney's Office from 2010 to 2011.

Irena began their professional journey in 2005 as a Sergeant/Commander in the Israeli Air Force (Intelligence Headquarters).

Irena Libov attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree in Law & Journalism with Magna Cum Laude honors. Irena has also obtained certifications as an Attorney from the Israeli Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association, although the specific months and years of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
