Lia Mendel Stein

Lia Mendel Stein is currently the Global GRC Director at Fireblocks, beginning in August 2025. Prior to this role, Lia served as the Head of Data Security & GRC at AppsFlyer from June 2021 to August 2025, where the focus included developing a comprehensive GRC framework aligned with industry standards and regulations. Lia's experience also includes significant tenure at Migdal Group from May 2008 to June 2021, with roles as both Sr. Internal Auditor and SOX Director, where enhancements to risk controls and the establishment of a dedicated SOX department were key achievements. Earlier career experience includes serving as Chief of Staff to the CFO at Mivtach Simon Insurance Agencies from October 2004 to May 2008. Education includes studies at The Open University of Israel from 2003 to 2008 and ongoing education at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology since March 2024.
