Oren Babay

Customer Success Engineer

Oren Babay has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and customer support. Oren started their career as a Network Operations Center Engineer at Cellcom in 1999 and later worked at Israel Natural Gas Lines (INGL) in the same role. Oren then joined FIBI (הבנק הבינלאומי - FIBI) as a Network Operations Center Team Lead, where they trained team members, implemented technological systems, and built procedures and work processes.

In 2012, Oren became a Network Implementation Engineer at Nokia, where they integrated and implemented an extensive UMTS network as part of an international team. Oren also performed network operations, analyzed network performance, troubleshooted issues, and trained other team members.

Oren then worked at HOT mobile as an IT NOC Engineer, managing core systems in a complex enterprise IT network. Oren provided support for computing infrastructure, diagnosed and analyzed network faults, managed servers, operated network processes, and maintained EMC storage systems.

In 2017, Oren joined Galor as an Application Support Engineer, where they provided customer support and worked on troubleshooting, investigating bugs and system failures, and managing backups and test environments.

From 2018 to 2021, Oren worked at Attenti as a Technical Support Engineer, specializing in advanced troubleshooting for complex problems and malfunctions. Oren gained experience with an ESXi based environment combining Windows and Linux servers and also investigated and analyzed system logs.

Currently, Oren is working at Fireblocks as a Customer Success Engineer. In this role, they act as a focal point for technical issues for crypto companies worldwide. Oren is responsible for writing and implementing blockchain cybersecurity policies, investigating bugs and technical issues, troubleshooting, providing customer training, and performing QA testing.

Oren Babay's education history begins in 2013 when they obtained an Associate’s Degree in MCSA 2012 from The Open University of Israel. In the years 2018 to 2019, they attended Appleseeds, focusing on Network and System Administration/Administrator, although no specific degree was mentioned.
