Peter M. currently serves as the Senior Director of Digital Identity, Compliance Advisory, and U.S. Policy at Fireblocks since October 2023. Additionally, Peter holds the position of Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations since June 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Superintendent of Virtual Currency in the Research & Innovation Division at the New York State Department of Financial Services from December 2021 to October 2023, and as Director of Digital Assets at Promontory Financial Group from June 2015 to December 2021, where Peter also held roles as Senior Principal, Principal, and Associate. Peter was a 2020 Fellow at The Economic Club of New York from February 2020 to June 2021. Educational qualifications include an MBA and a Master of Global Policy Studies from The University of Texas at Austin, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Government & Legal Studies from Bowdoin College.
