Ryan W.

Ryan W. has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Ryan most recently worked as a Sales Director for Institutional Business at Fireblocks starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Deputy Head of Sales at a Crypto Asset Management Company from November 2021 to July 2022. From October 2020 to November 2021, Ryan was a Director of Active Portfolio Advisory at UBS. Before that, they held various roles at Saxo Bank A/S, including Head of Relationship Management & Sales Trading in Greater China and Head of Sales Trading in China. Ryan also worked as a Sales Trader at Saxo Capital Markets APAC from May 2015 to April 2018. Earlier in their career, Ryan was a Trading Analyst at Golden Knights Capital Pte Ltd and held positions as Senior Dealer and Dealer at KGI Ong Capital Pte. Ltd. In addition, they worked as an Integration Engineer at Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte Ltd (SSMC) for a brief period in 2011.

Ryan W. has a strong educational background in the field of engineering and has later pursued a degree in finance. Ryan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in the years 2005 to 2009. Ryan then pursued further education and completed a Master's degree in Materials Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2010. Recently, they have decided to further enhance their skills in finance by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance, General. Ryan is currently enrolled at NUS Business School, with an expected completion in the years 2021 to 2023.

In addition to their academic achievements, Ryan has also obtained a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute in May 2016.
