Michael Peroutek

Michael Peroutek is a Test and Launch Operations Engineer (III) at Firefly Aerospace since January 2022, with previous experience as a Technical Intern (IV) at The Aerospace Corporation, where modeling cryogenic tank thermodynamics for the Falcon 9 launch vehicle was a key responsibility. Michael also interned at Spike Aerospace, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer, developing parametric models and engineering drawings for the Spike S-512 supersonic business jet. Prior experience includes an Engineering Co-Op at Dow, focusing on data analytics, equipment design, and reliability, as well as roles in data analytics engineering at Apache Corporation and customer service management at Kumon North America. Michael holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, expected in December 2023, and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the same institution.
