Nathan Britton

Nathan Britton is a highly experienced aerospace professional currently serving as the Director of Systems Engineering at Firefly Aerospace since October 2022. Previously, Nathan held several significant roles, including Director of Systems Engineering at Spaceflight Inc. and Controls & Systems Engineering Manager at Tethers Unlimited, Inc., where responsibilities spanned the full lifecycle of product development and management of the systems engineering department. Notably, Nathan was the Robotics Program Manager at Tethers Unlimited and led engineering efforts on the KRAKEN Robotic Manipulator, contributing to projects with NASA and the Air Force. With a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Tohoku University and an M.Sc. in Space Studies from the International Space University, Nathan's background includes extensive research and industry experience across various space robotics projects and engineering roles.
