Michael Martin

Michael Martin is the current Director at Children's Bureau. Prior to this position, they held various positions including Treasurer at Medical Society of Northern Virginia, Board of Directors at Medical Society of Northern Virginia, and Assistant Pediatric Residency Program Director at Inova Health System. Michael has also served as President for the Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Michael has dedicated their career to advocating for the physician community and improving access to healthcare for low-income, uninsured residents. Michael is a leader in resolving health care disputes and issues.

Michael Martin attended Cornell University for their undergraduate studies, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Michael then attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, where they earned their medical degree. Michael completed their residency training in pediatrics at NYU Residency Program and served as chief resident during their final year.
