Michael Slade

Michael Slade is currently a Senior BDR at FireHydrant. Prior to that, they were an Investment Banking Analyst at TFA Capital Partners from August 2020 to March 2021. There, they spent 10% of their time helping BetMGM with a GTM sports betting strategy in the States. Michael focused on Native American tribal partnerships, and found the experience to be eye-opening and cool. The majority of their time at TFA Capital Partners was spent in IB as an excel drone before they transitioned back to the world of early stage, high-growth startups.

Before working at TFA Capital Partners, Michael was an Operations Associate at Placement.com from January 2020 to August 2020. There, they focused on GTM Strategy. Placement.com is backed by Founders Fund, The House Found, Julia & Kevin Hartz (Eventbrite), Ryan Petersen (Flexport), etc.

Prior to Placement.com, Michael worked at Indeed.com as a Corporate Development Summer Analyst from May 2019 to August 2019. At Indeed, they were responsible for the company’s future investments and M&A strategy. This was a junior year internship that they joined right after the Recruit Holdings (Indeed)-GlassDoor Acquisition.

In addition to their work experience, Michael has also been a Course Facilitator - The Workshop: Interview Prep and Job Success at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from August 2018 to May 2020.

Michael Slade has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Michael also has a Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Technology from UC Berkeley College of Engineering. Michael Slade's diploma is in General Education from Dana Hills High School. Michael is also certified in MEDDICC and Force Management in Command of the Message from the California Department of Insurance.
