Joshua Hackett has a solid work experience history in the gaming industry, starting as an Artist at Canalside Studios in 2009. Joshua later transitioned to roles such as Multimedia Technician at the University of Huddersfield, Designer/Artist at MishMash Studios, and Contractor in Design/Production at Guerrilla Cambridge. Joshua then moved on to Level Designer positions at Supermassive Games Ltd, Climax Studios, Cloud Imperium Games (where they progressed to Lead Level Designer), Ubisoft Toronto, and currently works as a Principal Level Designer at Firesprite from 2021.
Joshua Hackett earned a BA Hons SW in Computer Games Design from The University of Huddersfield in 2011. In 2012, they completed a program in Dare+ at Abertay University focusing on Game development, Business, and Copyright law. Joshua enhanced their skills further in 2013 by obtaining a certification in Scrum Master from Skills Matter.
