Marcus Nichols is a Senior UI Artist at Firesprite since July 2019, contributing to an Unreal Engine 5 AAA project with a focus on UI technical art and development. Previously, Marcus held roles as a General UI Artist and Junior UI Artist at Firesprite, where ownership of the UI development pipeline and delivering UI & UX solutions for notable projects such as Horizon Call of The Mountain were key responsibilities. Prior experience includes roles as a UI/UX Designer at SIGTRAP LTD, Director/Game Developer at Shuttershade Studios, Game Designer/Studio Lead at Canalside Studios, and Web Developer & Designer at Spark Creative Agency. Marcus holds a BA(Hons) in Computer Games Design from The University of Huddersfield and has a background in various educational institutions, including East Norfolk Sixth Form and The Benjamin Britten High School.
